Balancing on a centre gravity plane

Conventional facing heads with balancing or weight compensation, work by means of the counter movement of a working and adjusting slide. The systems found on the market provide weight compensation in one plane (static balancing). However, this can produce a wobble. By using a slide which moves in the opposite direction the drive power is also doubled.
Slide tools with eccentric adjustment have the disadvantage that any production forces have to be absorbed with the drive chain and definition of the blade position is very difficult.
